About Duro Sweden

To shop at www.durosweden.com you must be at least 18 years of age and be in the position to enter into a purchasing agreement.

These general terms and conditions of purchase contain the rules that apply when ordering goods from us. When used below, the terms “Duro, we, our and us” refer to Duro Sweden AB (organizational number: 556342-0958). The terms “you” and “your” refer to you as a private customer.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you accept to be bound by the latest version. If there are differences between versions of written material, the information that has been published at the latest shall be deemed to take precedence. However, this does not apply to information that is clearly incorrect or misleading when comparing the different versions. Duro reserves the right to make any typos.

If there are elements in these conditions that deviate from mandatory legislation, such elements are without effect to the extent that the deviation is not in favor of the customer.

Products

We sell a selection of wallpapers and wallpaper samples on our website. All products offered meet Swedish environmental requirements.

The product images displayed on www.durosweden.com should reflect the product's colour, pattern, and other properties in a realistic manner. However, because colour reproduction may vary between devices and screen settings, we cannot guarantee that the colours of the products will reflect the colours you experience on your device. We recommend that you order a wallpaper sample before purchasing several wallpaper rolls.

Prices

All prices at www.durosweden.com are stated in Euro (EUR) including value added tax (VAT) according to the current tax rate. VAT is currently charged at 25 %.

Offers and promotions marketed on www.durosweden.com apply until the concerned products are out of stock if no other conditions are reported in connection with the offer.

Payment

When you order at www.durosweden.com your purchase is handled by Klarna.

In order to offer you Klarna’s payment methods, we might in the checkout pass your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klarna, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment methods and to tailor those payment methods for you. Your personal data transferred is processed in line with Klarna’s own privacy notice.

Orders

Once you have completed your purchase, we will send you an order confirmation to the email address that you have provided. Your order confirmation includes a summary of the products that you have purchased, a price breakdown, as well as the address that you have provided. An order becomes binding for us only once we have confirmed it. This confirmation is normally sent by email no later than one hour after you have placed your order and will still apply even if it has been sent to an incorrect email address.

Orders made during weekends and bank holidays are processed the following working day.

When ordering additional products, we cannot guarantee that these are from the same colour batch.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any questions regarding your order. You can reach us at info@durosweden.se.

Delivery

Please note that we only ship to Finland at the moment.

We offer free shipping.

Orders to Finland are shipped with DHL.

The customer is obligated to provide an address, mobile number, and email when ordering.

Parcels are primarily delivered to the nearest postal agency.

Delivery of products normally takes place within three to five non-holiday weekdays from the day when the order is completed. If the place of delivery is particularly remote or not included in the normal transport network, the delivery time may be extended.

If a significant delivery delay occurs, please contact DHL.

If you as a customer should not collect your order in the manner agreed, Duro will charge a recovery fee of €50 including VAT. The fee is necessary to cover the shipping and handling costs that arise.

Right of withdrawal

You as a private customer have the right to withdraw (terminate) this agreement. The right of withdrawal is valid for 14 days. The time is calculated from the day when you have received the products. For the right of withdrawal to apply, the products covered by the order must be returned in an unchanged condition. This means that you may not use the products to a greater extent than is required to be able to examine them.

Note that products that have been manufactured or modified specifically at the customer's request are not covered by the right of withdrawal. This category of products includes wallpaper samples. The cost of €3 per sample is an administrative fee and not a payment for the product itself.

Returns

You can only return orders that you have purchased from www.durosweden.com. If you have made your purchase from one of our resellers, you must return your order through them.

When returning products, you are responsible for the products reaching Duro in an undamaged condition.

The shipment cost of €20 is covered by the customer. Duro only covers the shipment cost if we have sent you the incorrect items or your order arrived damaged.

When we have received and accepted your return, a refund will be made excluding the price for the shipment. The refund is processed through Klarna.

Reclamations

As a customer, you have the right to make complaints about products that are incorrect. The right of complaint covers original defects and is valid for three years from the time that you received the product. The right of complaint also covers errors that have occurred during transport of the product to you. A product that deviates from what has been agreed between you and Duro or otherwise shows errors can also be considered incorrect. Errors that have occurred due to damage that you have caused are not counted as an original error.

Duty to inspect

As a customer, you have a duty to inspect the goods as soon as you have received them. You must check that you have received the right item(s), that all wallpaper rolls have the same colour bath and that there are no visible defects. If something is not right, contact Duro as soon as possible. If you have hired a craftsman but ordered the goods yourself, you are responsible for the inspection. Any consequential damages in the form of craft costs are not compensated in accordance with applicable law.

If you complain about a defective product after six months from the time you received the product in your possession, you are responsible for proving that the defect in the product is original. Therefore, Duro always recommends examining products once they have been delivered and pointing out any defects as soon as they are discovered. In the event of a complaint about a defective product, you as a customer are in the first instance entitled to have the defect rectified, receive a new product, and in some cases, you also have the right to terminate the agreement and get a refund for the product. Costs for returning a defective product are reimbursed by Duro as you as a customer must be kept indemnified. Note that you should minimize any costs that arise if a product turns out to be faulty. The refund will only be made when the goods have been received and approved by Duro.

Please make sure to document (preferably photograph) the faulty product(s) so that we can help you in the best way possible.

Reservation

Duro reserves the right to terminate the agreement if the customer has acted in bad faith due to inaccuracies that the customer was aware of or should have realized, such as incorrect information about price or quantity at www.durosweden.com. If the cancellation reservation is enforced, the customer is not entitled to damages or other compensation from Duro. Duro reserves the right to change the content of www.durosweden.com without notice, which includes, but is not limited to, offers, prices and promotions. However, such a change does not affect any agreements already entered between Duro and the customer.

Force majeure

In the event of government action or omission, new legislation, labor dispute, war or danger of war, major disturbance of public order, sabotage, extreme weather conditions, fire, explosion, natural disaster, accident, or other circumstance beyond Duro's control and which Duro has not been able to reasonably overcome or anticipate, Duro shall have the right to advance the time of its performance under the agreement or waive its obligations under the agreement. In such an event, Duro shall not be liable to compensate the customer for any damage to the customer as a result.

Other

In the event of price fluctuations or other barriers to trade, such as a lack of raw materials or a necessary component, where Duro cannot reasonably be held to meet its obligations under the agreement, Duro has the right to terminate the agreement. In such an event, the customer is not entitled to damages or other compensation from Duro.

In the event of significant tax or fee changes, which are of great importance for the conditions of the agreement, Duro has the right to terminate the agreement. In such an event, the customer is not entitled to any compensations from Duro.

If a delivery delay occurs due to an event beyond Duro's control, Duro shall not be held liable for damage due to such delivery delay. In such an event, the customer is not entitled to any compensations from Duro unless otherwise specifically agreed between Duro and the customer or follows from a provision under mandatory law.
