At the turn of the 20th century, inspiration was drawn from older times. Styles were often mixed to create new grandiloquent patterns with flowers and garlands. Johannelund is a beloved Duro classic from an earlier edition of Gammalsvenska wallpapers. It demonstrated inspiration from both antiquity and a Karl Johan style. A clear example of floral practice that never goes out of style.
