Ester Marias Kammare

The typical wallpapers of the time were often graphic in style and had darker tones, but not Ester Marias Kammare! It was first used at Ester's farm outside Örebro in the late 1920s. Something special was wanted that differed from the ideals of the time so roses and pastels were used instead of a functional style. Ester Marias Kammare was designed by Ernst Kirchsteiger. Accurately reproduced from original fragments and finely coloured, it is a true 20th century classic.
